Topic: A day in the life of a Real Estate Archeologist 

Guest Speaker: Angeliki Cavazos

Guest Speaker Bio: Angeliki was born and raised in Cyprus and completed her undergraduate studies in History and Archaeology at the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, Greece.  Angeliki then moved to Texas in 2003 and in 2005 joined a cultural resources management team of an engineering firm with projects all over Texas. In 2007 she entered graduate school at the University of Texas at Austin, where she holds an MA and PhD in Anthropology, and was a researcher at the Center of Archaeological and Tropical Studies (CATS) until 2015. Since 2020 she has been an archaeologist for the LCRA and part of the Real Estate group.
